Family Readiness & Outreach Group (FROGs)
Families are at the heart of first responder wellness and we strive to support and engage the families of our first responders.
-
We take great care to ensure each new officer’s, deputy’s, and firefighter’s family is educated on the opportunities, challenges, and resources that they will have as members of the community. Salt & Light partners to ensure the families are plugged into the FROGs network.
-
We have partnered with Protectors Peak to provide a safe space for first responders and their families to go and recover from workplace trauma. These retreats in Idaho are fully funded for the first responders.
-
Each year we host events for couples and families to spend time at Ironwood Springs. These adventure days have become a popular way to reconnect with families and spouses.
